A study by researchers at Columbia University and the French National Institute shows that 59% of links shared on social media are never actually clicked on. In other words, it seems that most people are simply forwarding messages without reading them (source: Caitlin Dewey, “Six in ten of you will share this link without reading it a new depressing study says,” The Washington Post , June 18, 201. It seems that people are more willing to share an article than to read it . Study co-author Arnaud Legout says that “this is typical of modern information consumption. People form opinions based on a summary or summaries of summaries without trying to go into depth.”

Simple : Contains one central idea, is easy to understand and illustrate. Avoid exaggeration and corporate jargon.
Impressive : It is different, beneficial, and personalized.
Unexpected : It is surprising, engaging, and enticing.
Credible : It is trustworthy , clear, and verifiable.
