Now that you've set up the integration with Facebook's custom audience, let's talk about how to use Facebook actions in your automations.
The actions related to this integration are “Add to Facebook Custom Audience” and “Remove from Facebook Custom Audience” .
First, to locate these actions, you will:
In your ActiveCampaign account, in the left sidebar, denmark phone number resource click on “Automations” . You can “Create an automation” from the top right sidebar button, or edit an automation that you’ve already created. Open the automation builder page, you will go to the right sidebar and click on the “Contacts” option .

By clicking on this option, the actions to remove and add to the Facebook custom audience will appear . To use them, just click on one of them and drag it to the + sign in your automation flow.

It is important to note that only contacts that reach some stage of the automation and are directed to these actions will be removed or added to Facebook's custom audience.

“Add to Facebook Custom Audience” action
By inserting this action into your automation, contacts that go through your flow and reach this stage will be added to your Facebook custom audience. To do this, simply enter the Facebook Ads account and custom audience
into which the contacts will be inserted in the action configuration .

You can also create a new custom audience directly from the ActiveCampaign platform .
Simply select your Facebook Ads account, enter a name for your custom audience , and you can also enter a description for your audience.

Important: Facebook offers several types of custom audiences. The audience created within ActiveCampaign will be of the “Customer Lists” subtype , which is the most common one offered by Facebook Ads.
Contacts added to the custom audience through this action will have this flow activity information in their contact profile within ActiveCampaign.
This will also show you which audience this contact was added to and which automation has this action.
