The use of works by reproducing them in the generation process is possible both (1) by the user and (2) by the AI system.
(1) For example, a user visits a website hosting an AI system, writes a prompt, for example, to generate an image of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa in the style of Pablo Picasso, and uploads to this website the work of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, which [the user] found on the Internet, the AI system, to fulfill this prompt, processes the work uploaded by the user in the style of Pablo special database Picasso, using the base model, after which the AI-generated object becomes available to the user.
(2) Another example, a user visits a website hosting an AI system, writes a prompt, say, to generate an image of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa in the style of Pablo Picasso, and the AI system, to fulfill this prompt, goes online, finds and downloads Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and processes it in the style of Pablo Picasso, using the base model, after which the AI-generated object becomes available to the user.
In both cases, the use of works occurs during the generation of the AI object: first, the reproduction of the work, then, the processing of the work using the basic AI model.
In both cases,.
In the first case, when a user uploads a work to a website with an AI system, the person reproducing the work will be the user.
The work is processed by an AI system
