How to create posts of less than 200 words that succeed

Post by Abdur12 »

Short posts can be a great way to keep your blog up to date when you're short on time. A post doesn't have to be long to be successful. Over the past 5 years, many of my best posts have been under 200 words. Here's how I've done it.

Lately I admit that I like to publish longer posts. In fact this post is also over 200 words. It's been a while since I published a post on why short posts were better than long ones . Now Google Panda even seems to give priority to longer, denser posts .

I don't give much importance to positioning yet because I consider that this blog is in a phase of establishing a minimum base of interesting content (see also "Why create content that nobody is looking for" ). There may be several reasons for creating short posts:

1. You have a busy schedule and less than 20 kenya phone numbers minutes to write .

2. You want to get back to blogging but you still lack ideas for longer posts.

3. It makes sense to split a post into several parts to create a series of articles.

4. You feel like sharing a thought that doesn't fit into 140 characters but doesn't go much further either.

Among the top 10 posts on this blog, there are several that have less than 200 words. This is where the idea for this post came from. I share some ideas for creating posts with less than 200 words that succeed:

1. Collection of quotes from famous people on a specific topic or aimed at a specific target audience.

2. Photos or videos can say more than 100 words. You may have taken or recorded fascinating images yourself or shared those of others (always respecting copyright).

3. Top 10 rankings . In one of my first blogs about traveling in Europe, articles with rankings of gasoline prices, cost of a Big Mac, number of inhabitants, etc. of the different countries of the European Union worked very well.

4. Lists with advice, skills, problems on a specific topic, where it is enough to write one line on each point.
