Last June, Axis Communications launched its own production line near Tver, operating under contract manufacturing conditions, at the Jabil plant, which has been in operation since 2009.
Currently, in addition to Axis products, the Jabil plant produces equipment from two more foreign companies. The experience accumulated in the production of IP cameras allowed the plant to obtain ISO uae whatsapp data and 14001 quality certificates. The Axis line uses both the plant's own universal equipment and unique equipment rented from Axis. According to Jabil representatives, the Axis line operates virtually without defects: 99.9% of products leave the line without returning to the repair area; there have been no returns from customers in a year of operation.
Having started with six models of video surveillance cameras, Axis has now expanded its Russian portfolio to fourteen models. All of these devices are the most popular in Russia. The capacity of the current line allows for the production of up to 2,000 units of equipment per month, while the actual workload is determined by planned orders. According to representatives of the Jabil plant, the expansion of production is only related to the current needs of Axis. The production plan is maintained up-to-date for a one-year horizon and is subject to monthly adjustments. In accordance with this plan, a warehouse stock is formed.
In addition to Russia, Axis cameras manufactured at the Jabil plant are supplied to Belarus and Kazakhstan — countries where the Axis ruble price list is in effect. According to vendor representatives, the cost of the equipment is not affected by the place of its production — it is determined by the vendor's pricing policy in the world and is converted into rubles. As for the cost of Axis products, for production facilities of equal capacity it is the same in all European countries.
