Material handling and supply

Single screw pelletizer: Generally suitable for small production volumes, with an output of generally several tens to several hundred kilograms per hour. The production speed is slower, but for some special plastic raw materials, a single-mode single screw extruder may be a more suitable choice.

Twin Screw Granulator: Has a higher throughput than single screw granulators, typically ranging from a few hundred kilograms to over a ton per hour. Twin screw granulators are suitable for large batch production and are a common choice for processing specialty materials or when higher production speeds are required.

Pelletizer: Pelletizers have relatively high production capacities, typically ranging from several hundred kilograms to several tons per hour. Since pelletizers can simultaneously perform extrusion and cutting, they are very efficient and suitable for large-scale production.

Water Ring Granulator: It has a large capacity, usually sri lanka number data ranging from several tens to several hundred tons per hour. Water ring granulators are suitable for high-production environments with high production speeds, and are often used to produce common plastic pellets such as polypropylene and polyethylene.

In addition, final particle size and shape requirements must be assessed. Some applications may require uniform pellets, while others may accept irregular, flaky particles.
Finally, the density and strength of the pellets must also be considered to ensure that they meet the requirements of the final product.

2.3.1 Assess the form in which the raw materials will be fed into the machine
The feeding methods for plastic granulators are generally divided into three types: breast feeding, bag feeding and roll feeding, which differ in the way of transporting and feeding materials.
