Why we built Hello Bar Inline

Post by surovy117 »

So, Hello Bar was originally created to allow website owners to quickly inform their audience about new features, updates, events, and anything else they could think of.

Hello Bar was named that because it was a simple widget that sat at the top of the page. It was easy to add to a website, easy to see, and beautifully designed. And it went viral.

Tim Ferris added Hello Bar. Seth Godin added Hello Bar. Eric Ries added Hello Bar. Ecommerce companies added one. Hundreds of thousands of blogs added one. And pretty soon Hello Bar was everywhere you looked.

Over the years, Hello Bar has become well-known and has spawned many copycats. We've been flattered (and sometimes annoyed) by the fact that so many companies have tried to copy what we do. And that's kept us committed to one thing... helping great companies and entrepreneurs build better relationships with their website visitors.

In an effort to enable companies to engage their website visitors in newer and better ways, we have introduced several types of pop-ups with different placements on the website.

Fast forward to today and we now enable companies around the world to place a small piece of code on their websites and convert visitors into email subscribers , customers, leads, social media followers and much more.

In addition to Hello Bars, our customers can now easily and inexpensively add pop-ups and forms to their site in a variety of places. We have top bars, bottom bars, corner units, and more. And we've continued to focus on making sure Hello Bar remains simple, affordable, and fun.

We also own several other products and believe that content is the best way to grow a business online.

In fact, a few years after Hello Bar was created, Neil Patel joined Hello Bar. If you don’t know Neil, type “Internet Marketing” into Google and you’ll quickly learn all about him. Neil has built an empire by helping companies all over the world get started and grow. And a big part of that is helping them learn and apply SEO and content marketing to their businesses.

However, simply creating content is not enough. Many companies create content online, many even create good content. There is no shortage of companies that know how to use content to get a steady stream of organic traffic to their websites.

While creating good content is a great way to grow your business online, we've noticed that people still struggle with turning their site visitors into customers, leads, and followers.

By adding Hello Bars, bottom bars, and corner units to their websites, many of these people have seen an immediate student database increase in conversions and results. We love seeing how our customers do this. However, we also felt that we could help our customers be more successful, which is why we decided to launch Hello Bar Inline.

We used to own a native advertising platform and we found out how well native experiences convert. What we mean by native experiences are those experiences on a website that look and feel like the content itself and incite action.

For example, Taboola and Outbrain (and others) offer native advertising solutions where ads look and feel like the content itself. These native experiences are “polite” yet engaging and deliver excellent click-through rates.
