Enterprise security was not prepared for a number of reasons: lack of historically defined escalation of needs and objectives; lack of risk discussion; failure to provide meaningful data on the consequences of under-investment in preparation; failure to understand the costs of inaction. It was not prepared because enterprise security objectives were not prioritized. Security requires investment and is considered to be at odds with revenue generation – without taking into account the risks in today’s digital environment.
If personal life has not taught most employees to value privacy and understand the risks and consequences of the new digital reality, how can we expect any different results from our business? The world has changed dramatically, but this evolution has its price.
IT leaders not only convince an organization to poland mobile database in protecting its digital environment, but also educate multiple generations of users about the importance of security and protection.
Cybercriminals are well funded and will exploit any vulnerability. Currently, that vulnerability lies in poorly educated and unsuspecting employees. Without proper training and authority management, an organization will be susceptible to digital incidents.
Training is an organizational mission for security personnel, embedded in the organization’s core values. It is a shared responsibility where everyone is responsible for protecting the company’s information and has a stake in protecting those assets. By understanding the relationship between data protection, revenue generation, and acceptable risk, the user community can clearly define why these things are important and how they can be applied.
