Dofollow and nofollow

Post by subornaakter24 »

Both Google and Yandex pay attention to the presence of different types of links in the link profile: this indicates their naturalness. Think about how you can get incoming links from forums.

Other types of links

Remember that there are cross-links present on every page.

There are many webmasters who choose this insurance leads for seniors strategy when promoting in Google to increase internal PR and transfer weight. But in Yandex, you shouldn't do this: it's better to get a single link from the donor's main page than to stuff all the pages with them.

Not only text, but also an image can be a link: when clicking on a banner or icon, the user is taken to a new page, downloading a file. Links are written directly in the HTML code or inserted using a WYSIWYG visual editor:

By adding the alt tag, we get an anchorless link that is of a quality that suits both Yandex and Google.

Belonging of the link mass to the region and topics

To protect yourself from filters, try to get links from news portals. Another way is to contact portals with the same subject matter as yours. This is important when promoting in Yandex, but for Google, the subject matter is not decisive: you can promote using non-thematic links.

Another major difference in promotion in Google and Yandex is that Google does not particularly look at the donor region.

Transitions via links from donors

For both search engines, a positive factor is a large number of transitions to your resource from donors: this is a sign that the links correspond to the context, and the reader is simply following the advice of the author of the article.

The search engine - either of the two considered - considers such links to be natural and takes them into account much better than the others.

Filters, penalties for links

Google has a special algorithm called “Penguin”, which provides a sharp drop in traffic and a break in positions (by 30 points or more). It is designed to combat unnatural links. There is a positive aspect to this: in just a couple of weeks, you can free yourself from this filter and never think about it again.

Google has launched a special service for webmasters, Disavow Links Tool, which allows you to reject low-quality links.

Please note: such sanctions are used very rarely lately; Google usually simply ignores links that seem bad to it, and they do not affect ranking.

Things are a bit more complicated with Yandex. Getting out from under the Minusinsk algorithm is a task that will take several months, and there are no tools to help the webmaster with this.

Keep in mind: when fighting for links, do not stoop to frankly artificial links that are needed solely to influence search results. Spamming anchors is also unacceptable. Choose good donors and make links diverse - then you have a chance to succeed in website promotion.
