Simple 301 Redirects – simply redirect links
Sometimes it becomes necessary to change the permalink, i.e. the address of a website or blog post. Changing it in WordPress itself is very easy. But if the page or post has already been published, changing the address means that links to your content will lead nowhere. That's bad. Very bad.
The inventors of the Internet have therefore introduced a solution, namely a redirect.
