Choose a campaign objective

Post by pappu634 »

We will be using the Poptin app for this tutorial. Installing Poptin takes just a few steps ( here is a step-by-step guide). Once installed, you get instant access to an unlimited number of smart popups and other features that allow you to create and run highly effective popups.

There are four different packages, including a founder email lists plan that supports up to 1,000 visitors per month. You can start with the free version to test it out before making a full commitment.

Create a popup
Once the app is installed and ready, you will need to create a popup that will make your page visitors want to buy or leave their email addresses.

Go to the dashboard, click on the "new popup" button and then continue to the next step.

On the next page, decide the goal of your first Shopify popup. Do you need to get more leads, increase sales, or grow your email list?

For example, let's use "Grow Email List" for this exercise.

Once you click on the 'Grow Email List' option, Poptin will show you a menu with various pop-up options and templates.

Take your time to browse through the templates and choose the one that best suits your Shopify store's purpose and theme. For example, here's a 10% off coupon offer that you can customize for your Shopify store:

Using this coupon promises to give visitors who leave their email addresses a 10% discount on a purchase after a specified period. This technique can help increase email signups and sales since a 10% discount is offered – a great incentive for people who shop online.

Customize your campaign
Once you've selected your template, it's time to customize it. Hover over the template to see the "customize" option. Click on it and you'll be redirected to a page where you can enter your Shopify store details.

Once you provide this information, you can design the campaign to feel like a natural part of your Shopify store.
