Continuous intelligence is a combination of real-time and predictive analytics. The resulting real-time analyses are integrated into ongoing austria telegram screening business processes in order to create forecasts based on current and historical data and to derive targeted measures from them. In database terms, this means setting up online analytics processing (OLAP) on top of online transaction processing (OLTP) , i.e. the read and write processes currently running in the database. These can be workloads in the context of washing machine production, an e-commerce retailer or a travel agency hotline, for example.
For OLAP analysis, dedicated analytics nodes can be opened in certain suitable databases. These operate in complete workload isolation from the OLTP data processing and thus do not impose any additional workload on the main OLTP process and its resources.
They have direct access to the data stream and can identify critical internal variables, such as increased scrap rates in production, but also incorporate external analysis data, such as the implications of weather changes in the tourism sector. Rolling comparison periods serve as limit parameters. These are usually the last twelve and the last three months, calculated back from the current date.
