Pavel Kolyadin has come a long way from a military engineer to an expert in marketing and neural networks. His experience in information security and website creation led to a successful career in marketing agricultural machinery for a major European manufacturer, and now he is implementing neural networks in his work. In this article, Pavel shares his experience and views on the future of digital technologies in marketing
Cases Our Students Prompt-Engineering
My name is Pavel, I am 47 years old and I come from the Ryazan region. My professional history began in a completely different field - I received an education at a military university in the specialty of radio-electronic equipment engineer, where the main focus was on automated control systems. The path to my current activity was long and interesting.
Back in 1995, I started working as a computer uk email database center technician at a provincial university. Soon I entered a military institute, which I successfully graduated from. I served in the Russian Armed Forces for some time, and in the early 2000s I moved to the civilian sector, getting a job at a bank, where I was engaged in technical protection of banking information. In this role, I mastered cryptographic protection systems and gained extensive experience in information security.
IT and Marketing in My Life
Around 2008, I started creating websites. It all started with projects for friends, when it was necessary not only to create a website, but also to fill it with content, promote it in search engines, and set up advertising. At that time, I used available materials, such as books and Internet resources, and gradually immersed myself in this area. After some time, I returned to my native land and got a job as a design engineer at a production facility, where I was engaged in the design of air fresheners for both cars and households.
Then I realized that I was ready for a change and was glad to get back into marketing. One of the companies where I worked offered me a job in marketing for a large agricultural machinery dealer. The task included offline and online marketing, creating websites and an online store, developing and publishing content. We even used a DJI Mavic drone for filming, which allowed us to create high-quality and diverse visual content for websites and YouTube channels. I really liked it, and I started taking various courses, updating my knowledge.
How I became interested in neural networks
I liked the job, but when the agricultural season ended, it became boring to sit around in the office. So I switched to freelancing and started doing lead generation, rebranding, and creating brands for various products. One of the interesting stages in my career was the experience of working with neural networks. In one of the projects, I was offered to study at the online university "Zerocoder", where I studied neural networks, got acquainted with the capabilities of ChatGPT. I even took part in writing a book on modern marketing, I devoted one of the chapters to the use of AI in SEO optimization.
Now in my work I actively use neural networks for various tasks. For example, with their help you can collect semantics, create titles and descriptions for SEO, as well as unique rewrites. In addition, I use ChatGPT, which I trained on the basis of many marketing materials. Thanks to this, it is able to create relevant texts that correspond to requests.
If you want to learn about AI capabilities, come to our new free online workshop on Prompt Engineering. There, Zerocoder CEO Kirill Pshinnik will talk about the latest neural network capabilities and perform a Prompt Engineer task live.
How I use AI
My GPT-based assistant helps me create technical specifications for copywriting, as well as generate SEO texts, including keywords and other important elements. Articles and materials are then published on the company blog, which helps improve search engine optimization and attract targeted traffic.
I also participate in the preparation of expert materials for large media outlets, such as RBC, where the neural network helps me analyze data, select relevant headlines, and improve the content of the texts. Sometimes I correct the assistant's suggestions, but in most cases the texts are almost ready for publication.
I use several neural network tools for creating images. The main ones are Stable Diffusion, Leonardo, Adobe Express, and Recraft. These platforms allow me to achieve high quality and variety in visual content, and I like their flexibility. Midjourney is also very popular, but to be honest, the fact that it works through Discord didn’t work for me. This imposes certain limitations, and I still don’t use this tool.
For other purposes, I also tested neural networks such as Microsoft's Copilot and Claude. Although Claude proved interesting, I have settled on ChatGPT for now - the subscription is completely worth it, as it covers 70% of all tasks.
In terms of video content, I have been experimenting with creating a digital video avatar. It was a lot of work, from creating a content plan to generating the video itself. In a way, such a digital avatar can replace me in the process: it simplifies the content creation process, allowing me to focus on other tasks.
I am currently in the process of constantly learning and testing new technologies, such as creating digital avatars and AI chatbots. Information in the field of neural networks is changing rapidly, and I am interested in staying up to date with all the innovations in order to apply them in practice and find new approaches for effective work in marketing.
About my blog
Another important project for me was my Telegram blog, which I created to share knowledge and experience. The idea for the blog came from my experience in marketing and working with neural networks. Now I continue to study digital technologies and plan to develop the blog, adding more automated content and interesting cases. I also hope to set up autoposting over time so that publications are published on a regular basis.
