How do TikTok Creator Fund payments work?
TikTok has made it clear that the Creator Fund is not a revenue-sharing program. In their words, performance is “dynamic” and based on “various factors” that are constantly changing.
This ambiguity and lack of specificity was criticized germany b2b leads by the creators. To be fair, the fund is still in its early stages.
TikTok says the following factors affect how much a creator gets paid for any given video:
views
authenticity of opinion
Content engagement rate
In short, creators act as independent contractors and are paid by TikTok based on the number of views they accrue each month.
Technically, there is no cap on how much creators can earn. Funding is calculated within 30 days of the previous monthly reporting period. From that point forward, TikTok will compensate creators for views and engagement during that period. The minimum payment limit to transfer from your account to your digital wallet is $10 (previously $50).

The biggest criticism of the TikTok Creator Fund involves how much (or how little) creators are compensated.
For example, this breakdown highlights how a viral video with over 21 million views netted a total of $340.33. Each view counts for a small percentage.

This is astounding compared to what some influencers on the Creator Marketplace charge per post ($1,000+). This also leads to significantly lower levels of engagement.
