There could be many reasons for this, but today we'll take a look at how you can use Instagram analytics to see what's working and what's not, what your followers want more of, and what might be better left out of your strategy in the future. Analyzing your business Instagram account data is a treasure trove of great information for growing and developing your brand on this social network. We just need to know a few basic metrics that give us the most useful feedback for success. Check out these 7 metrics in Instagram Insights:
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BUSINESS INSTAGRAM PROFILE ACTIVATED
This is the first and basic step into the world of Instagram statistics. If you haven't yet set up your account as a business profile and are using it to promote your brand (even if you are a brand yourself or an "influencer"), then do it as soon as possible. Only when you set up your profile for business use do you get access to insights or analytics. Keep in mind that it takes at least a few weeks, or even better, at least a month, for the data to be collected and for you to be able to draw any meaningful conclusions from it. That's why it's really important to take this step yesterday!

DEMOGRAPHICS OF YOUR IG FOLLOWERS
When you click on “Insights”, you will see “Overview” and then click on “Total Followers”. There you will see the number of followers, how many there are in total, how many people followed you in a certain period bangladesh phone number lead and how many of them stopped following you. Below you will see exactly which locations they come from (by city: Ljubljana, Maribor, Kranj… etc.). The next metric that will be shown to you will be the Age of your followers in the form of an age range, which you can filter separately by men and women. Below you will see followers by gender, and then the most active time of your followers by hours. This is very useful information for you, from which you can conclude when it is most worthwhile for you to post during the day.
FIND OUT WHICH INSTAGRAM POSTS REACHED THE MOST PEOPLE
Click on “Content you shared” and your most recent posts will be displayed. You can set the filter to how many posts you want to see and for what time period. The black box will show you the reach of the posts. If you click on each post individually, you can see even more detailed data for each post, such as how many people played the video, how many saved it, and how many “liked” it.

USE METRICS TO FIND OUT WHERE PEOPLE CAME FROM TO YOUR POST
Where someone found your post, or where the traffic came from, is very important information for you. You will see that it can come from Home (Instagram feed), from Hashtags (so it is important to include relevant keywords in your hashtags), how many clicked on the post from your profile, and how many came from elsewhere.
FIND OUT HOW MANY PEOPLE STARTED FOLLOWING YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR POST
Another extremely important metric that you can find under each post is this one: “Profile Activity”. Here you can see data on how many people viewed your Instagram profile because of the post, how many started following you because of the post and how many clicked on the call to action button (for example, Email). How do you find posts by the “Follows” metric? You go to “Content”, select the post type “Posts” and then set the sorting by the Follows metric. and press apply. It will throw out the posts in order from “best” to “worst” based on how many people started following you because of a certain post. This metric is great because it clearly shows you what your visitors were really interested in and convinced them to press “Follow”.

FIND OUT HOW MANY PEOPLE CLICKED ON YOUR PROFILE BECAUSE OF YOUR STORY
With stories, you're mainly interested in how many people saw them and how much activity they triggered, and how many of them clicked on your Instagram profile based on that content. Once you've eliminated the most successful ones, try to find a common denominator and draw a conclusion about what the success factor is. Then do more of that and make more similar stories. And don't forget to keep experimenting and trying new things! Don't rest on your laurels. Social networks are always changing systems and you never know what will work tomorrow!
PRAISE YOURSELF FOR BEST PRACTICES AND CARRY THEM WITH YOU INTO THE FUTURE
Just like on any other platform, if you really get into it, analytics can tell you a lot and it's not a waste of time. If you draw the right conclusions and learn something from it... Because of that, you then start producing even better content that attracts even more followers and encourages more interaction. Worth it? Yep.
