And the author, well, who cares. But hey, the music is changing. Today Google explicitly tells us that the author's reputation is one of the main factors with which it evaluates the quality of content. If you are an author/content creator/copywriter: 1) Verticalizing yourself is better for you . Whether you write for yourself or for others makes little difference. If you consistently produce content on a certain topic you can gain increasing authority in the eyes of Google .

In short, the more you write on a certain topic, the more bahamas phone data your signature becomes important and capable of positively influencing the ranking of a content. Not exactly a small thing, right? 2) Your signature has value. If the author's reputation becomes part of the quality (and therefore ranking ) factors, you understand that your signature also acquires value from a commercial point of view. Take this into account from a professional perspective... and also in commercial negotiations.

If you are the manager of a website: 1) Make it clear to Google who you are and who your authors are. The era of anonymous blogs is perhaps over forever. Instead, try to give Google all the information possible about you and who writes for you: create a rich "about us" page, highlight your contact information and social media links, create author pages with interesting bios and links to social profiles. Google is telling you that people have weight, you have to try to make them see it! 2) Work on your offsite reputation.
