10 myths about having a blog

Post by Abdur12 »

Having a blog and being consistent gives me many advantages on a professional and personal level. Apart from the satisfaction I get from creating something and getting feedback through comments or Twitter, the blog is a professional tool to position myself in the field of online marketing, blogs and entrepreneurship. Many people do not benefit from these advantages because they think it is too difficult. There are a number of myths about blogging that I want to resolve in this post.

I have been writing for marketingguerrilla.es for a little over a year now. I enjoy writing and I am motivated to share my experience with the people who come to this blog. It is not difficult to create a blog. If I can do it, anyone who wants to can do the same. I present to you the 10 myths about creating a blog:

10 myths about blogs

1. You need to be an expert on a specific topic : You don't have korea mobile number to be a photography guru if you want to share your photos or a professional runner if you want to share your experience preparing for a marathon . Anyone can write about anything they are passionate about.

2. Extensive SEO knowledge is required : As I said before, SEO is not the solution to your problems . If you want to write and set up a blog, don't worry about how you will be positioned in search engines. There is a world beyond Google if you want to get traffic and visits to your blog.

3. You can start a blog with just a bit of technical knowledge : Most people can install WordPress if they put in the effort. If all you know how to do is turn your computer on and off, you can use free platforms that offer pre-defined installations without having to install a blog.

4. You have to be creative to always generate new ideas : even if you consider yourself not very creative, I assure you that ideas for writing posts will come without much effort , simply because you can't avoid thinking. In my case, I generate many new ideas in the process of writing articles.

5. It requires a lot of time and dedication : like everything in life, but perhaps less than you think. It is good to have a critical mass of 10 to 20 posts on a blog so that you can offer additional content to the people who come to your blog. From that point on, it is enough to publish once or twice a week. Everything will depend on the objectives you set .
