Do you want to be a professional blogger? It's a bit like wanting to be an actor or a singer. Few make it to the top and many give up halfway.

I have been called a “professional blogger” on many occasions. I have always found this title curious because I have never been 100% sure what it really means. The time has come to provide a first definition of this term.

Definition of professional blogger
A professional blogger is a person who has managed to turn his japanese phone number hobby into his job. In other words, he has achieved something that only a very small percentage of bloggers achieve: they can make a living solely from the blogs they have created and maintained.
The average professional blogger has 3 blogs, publishes 2-3 times a week and has taken more than 4 years to get to this point according to a 2012 study . I personally know less than 10 bloggers who make a direct or indirect living from their blog. Being optimistic, there will be between 500-1,000 people in Spain who manage to make a living from their blogs, and that's going to be a high-end idea. Get ready because this road won't be easy.
How to become a professional blogger
Being a professional blogger is probably a bit like wanting to be an actor or a singer. It's relatively easy to become one, but being successful is another thing entirely. Despite having certain facets in common with the artistic world, blogging depends less on luck or talent and more on the hours you invest to reach the top.
