If you design in this way and then you roll out in this way, you get this amazing alignment and connection between how you're branding and marketing the product and how that product was conceived and built. The problem and the solution become clear everywhere. It works very, very well for product building and product launching.

During a conversation with Google’s John Mueller at SMX Munich in March, he shared with me an interesting piece of data about how Google evaluates site speed today. When I mentioned it at SearchLove San Diegoایک ہفتے بعد, people got a little excited, so I followed up with John to clarify my understanding.

The short version is that Google is now using performance data collected from Chrome users who have opted in as a data point in its site speed assessment (and as a signal for ranking). This is a positive move (IMHO) because it means we don't have to think of optimizing site speed for Google as a separate task from optimizing for users.
