I personally have a clear vision

Post by jrineakter »

What was the result of this? Well, quite simply, personal development almost led me to burnout, literally, because there was too much to do and it absolutely did not produce the expected results. I was making a lot of efforts and I was not getting the well-being results that I was promised in all the books I read on the subject.

It is by simplifying my activities that I managed to progress in a few well-chosen key areas. I suggest you do the same and set yourself a few priorities, select them carefully and follow them thoroughly. Obviously, learning French can be part of this, in an integral way and in a completely priority way.

Here's how you can do it. I've prepared a simple little method for you, you'll see, in four steps to successfully determine all that.

The first step is to clarify. To clarify means to make clear. You have to be able to imagine yourself and imagine the life you would like to have in a year and in five years. Beyond that, I find it difficult. I have trouble imagining myself beyond a period of five years. But you can already think. What would you like to be? What would you like to do during these periods? You imagine yourself in a year or in five years.

really, of what I will be and what I will have in a year and in five years. If I close my eyes, I can clearly imagine and see myself in these situations. It's natural for me because I've practiced the exercise many times. It's simple to do, really. So I really invite you to do it for yourself.

You can simply write it on a sheet of paper spain whatsapp number data and review it regularly. This is an exercise that you can do over several weeks, for example. And you can refine it as you go along. And each time you write, you can close your eyes and imagine yourself in this situation. Don't limit yourself, really. Of course, this vision will not be set in stone, you can change it slightly, you can remain flexible, but of course you should not change your vision every week.

This first step is the key because it is your compass, your North Star. This is really what will allow you to choose the priorities that you want to set for yourself on a daily basis. So clarify the life that you would like to live in a year, in five years. And I am sure that you can imagine seeing yourself in a year speaking French in a restaurant for example, ordering without any problem, or if your goal is to study in France, to be in France in a university studying. You can really imagine without limits what your vision should be.

Step two, you're not going to like it, but you have to simplify. Because the problem with vision is that we are able to imagine lots of things. It's easy to imagine lots of things that we would like to have, lots of positive things, but as we said, we can't do everything, we can't... or work on everything on a daily basis, so you're going to have to simplify.

For example, you can easily imagine yourself in five years in great physical shape with a beautiful family, everyone is happy, you are financially free, you have a job that you really like, you speak French fluently. It's easy to imagine all that.

But this is where it gets a little dangerous, because this is where you're going to fall into the trap that I fell into of overdoing it. And really, what I'm really calling your attention to here is that we think long term. And to be successful in the long term, we can use the kaizen mindset, which is to say, make small daily efforts instead of making big regular efforts.

To be in top physical shape in five years, you don't need to do weight training every day, stretch every day, run every day. To speak French fluently, you don't need to lock yourself away every weekend and study for hours.

The important thing is to choose for each of your goals one or two activities that you do every day no matter what, no matter what, really. It must be a part of your identity. And that is a key, really. It condenses dozens of books that I have read on the subject. This behavior that will allow you to have what you want must be part of your identity. If you only remember one idea, remember that one.
