How to make good money as an SEO copywriter
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.
In other words: search engine optimization.
The goal of SEO texts is to make the texts (and the corresponding website) easier to find in Google.
Danger:
By SEO texts I don't mean the "old" SEO texts.
Back then, SEO copywriting was simply stringing together “keywords.”
It looked like this:
"Old" SEO copywriting:
"Do you want to buy blue shoes for men? Blue shoes for men are a good choice if you are looking for blue shoes for men. We will help you find the best blue shoes for men here."
Today, good SEO texts look different.
"New" SEO copywriting:
"Do you want to buy blue shoes for men? We'll tell you 5 tricks that will save you money. We'll also show you the top 3 models and finally you'll find out what the "stupidest" trend in blue shoes is that you should avoid."
The trick is to sound human and not like a robot that scraped together the text from Google.
(Yes, such robot texts really do exist, but Google keeps punishing them with new updates...)
Google is not stupid.
Infotainment is the new SEO copywriting. ( You can learn the art of infotainment here. )

Pro Tip
Don't advertise your services as "SEO copywriting." You'll earn a lot more money if you position yourself as a full-fledged SEO consultant AND copywriter.
This means the entrepreneur does not have to hire several people, but can book you for the complete SEO.
Of course, this assumes that you have some knowledge of SEO.
