Facebook group: public, private or secret?

Post by sami »

Facebook groups can be public. Then everyone can read them; members can write posts. Closed groups are now called "private groups", but nothing has changed except the name. They can be found by all members, but the content is only accessible to members. Secret groups, on the other hand, can only be found by those who know about them and are invited.

Here in the Facebook Help section you can find information about privacy options for Facebook Groups.

B2B versus B2C
B2B (Business to Business) refers to business and relationships between companies. B2C (Business to Consumer) refers to relationships between companies and end consumers. Accordingly, a distinction is also made between the two areas in external corporate communication. In fact, it must be stated that the differences between B2B and B2C communication are much less different in terms of basic principles than is often assumed.

Of course, the target groups differ in number as well as in their specific needs. The way they are addressed is different, and the customer journey from initial contact to conclusion and beyond is different. B2C bitcoin data companies also have relationships with other companies and contacts with the people who work in them.

In this respect, most of what is said here applies (almost) equally to both areas and only differs in their specific form. However, my main aim is to show how comprehensive and diverse the possibilities are for the B2B sector. In doing so, I want to counter the assumption that Facebook is primarily a consumer platform, especially when it comes to the use of groups. Of course, there are many more groups on consumer and private topics.

Quick Guide: How to Add Your Facebook Group to Your Facebook Fan Page

Facebook recently expanded the features for group administrators, as described in this Facebook Newsroom post . It has also been possible to add pages to fan pages for some time now, allowing them to be run and managed as a business.

You can link groups that you have already set up to your own fan page via the Business Manager on the homepage using the “Groups” tab. You can also create new groups directly here.
