Choose your domain name wisely.

There are several requirements for a website URL: simplicity, memorability, connection with the brand (ideally, the domain should match the brand name). This helps search engines understand what kind of site is in front of them and rank it.

The URLs of the other pages should also be beautiful and clear: without special characters and with a domain name, without underscores (let the words be connected with a hyphen), with direct moving leads email list keywords.

Provide each page with SEO titles and descriptions.

Meta title and description tags – short unique texts about what you do and what you offer, sometimes with keywords and phrases that are commonly used to search for similar products and services – help improve the position of a website page in search results.

You yourself will not see the contents of the description anywhere, but search robots will read it first and take it into account.

These two meta tags are the first thing that robots will scan when evaluating your page. When a page appears in search results, users will also first see the description and title (and will judge the site's content by them).

Anchor texts.

These are text links with anchors that lead to another post, to a product card, or even to a third-party site. When composing texts for a site, immediately think about which words and phrases can be used to create a link.

Example: you have an online shoe store and a personal page. The text “See what collection of children's shoes we have now” is a good place to link to the corresponding section in the store.

Anchors help improve the quality of pages and promote the site as a whole. But make sure there aren't too many of these links: it tires readers and irritates search engines.

Alt tag for images.

Search robots are much better at reading texts than at understanding what is depicted in a photo or picture. That is why they focus on the “alternative text” contained in the alt tag: a short, up to seven words, clear and concise caption to the image. All images on the page should have alts. They can use keywords and the name of the trademark.
