Creating a freebie is pretty much the first thing that everyone who is new to online marketing does, as it is recommended everywhere. Sure, a freebie is great - you offer a sample of what you do and you can fill your newsletter list by giving it away. But as a beginner, you quickly realise that it is not that easy. There are lots of chicken-and-egg problems, both when creating and setting it up.
So let’s take a look at indiatelegram screening this together:

Pre-planning your freebie
It actually looks super simple: you create a small sample of your work, people sign up for it on your website, and you get a seemingly never-ending stream of new newsletter subscribers – almost on autopilot.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way for most people - and certainly not the first time. You'll quickly find that there are some "chicken and egg situations" when creating a freebie that you didn't expect.
That's why it's important that you think about the process and make sure that you can complete each step on your own - even before you start creating your freebie.

What exactly is a freebie?
Many people don't even know this term - and (not only) for this reason, you should never call your freebie a freebie. Either say what it is exactly (e-book, for example) or call it a €0 offer.
