While this provides a great opportunity for Australian businesses, it also means an even steeper learning curve.

This steep learning curve is due to the fact that many e-commerce companies do not focus on specific things.

An e-commerce business must work on its brand. It is not bulgaria mobile database just about selling products, it is about selling a lifestyle that the products allow access to.

Obviously, this requires a strong investment in branding and ensuring that your customer is at the center of everything you do.

As Amazon expands its business into other countries (including Australia in late 2018), many e-commerce retailers will not be able to compete on price.

What they can do is create brand experiences and build a community around them to connect with.

In my opinion, the UK offers some of the best e-commerce opportunities out there.

Since it is a small country and its distribution network is efficient and highly adapted to e-commerce, our purchasing habits have evolved to align first with e-commerce and then with the retail sector.

The UK population has no patience when it comes to shopping – they want it all and they want it now.

Because of this fact, one of the best pieces of advice I can give is to take advantage of this impatience and incorporate fast and affordable delivery into your strategy.
