When we discussed the theory, I was asked to solve two practical tasks. I had to do this in the moment, without leaving the call. One of them was to check a line of code: whether it was a palindrome or not. I completed this task in about 15 minutes. The next task was even easier.
In the second part of the interview, it seemed to me that HR was watching how I work with information, how I process it with limited time. I was nervous and made several mistakes in the second part of the interview. But HR was understanding about them and gave me the opportunity to improve.

During my internship, I don’t work “for the desk drawer”
Two weeks after the interview, DM-Tech sent me an offer. At that time, I had not yet completed my training at Skillfactory, I had completed 89% of the course.
I have been interning at the company for over two china telegram data weeks now. Before starting work, I went through a short onboarding at DM-Tech. As my main job during the internship, I was given the task of writing UI tests in Swift. And I will not be working "for the drawer" - the quality of the Detsky Mir app for iOS will depend on me.
I was given the green light to work remotely, as I live and study in Rostov-on-Don. My internship will last three hours a day for three months. Then there will be a review of my work. Who knows, maybe I will be able to get a full-time position.
Advice for beginners: learn the basics and don't forget about practice
For newbies going to their first interview in IT, I can give one piece of advice based on personal experience.
Be sure to run through the material and practice before the interview. I myself delved into the depths of theory before the interview, and left little time for practical tasks.
Of course, it's great that the recruiter saw the reason for my mistakes - anxiety. But you won't always be interviewed by a person with developed empathy. If you stumble over simple things, he or she may refuse further interviews.
