Build a system that supports your goals

Post by rifat28dddd »

One of my biggest realizations was that I had set this big goal but hadn’t put in place a system or plan to achieve it.

You see, a goal without a system is basically just a wish — and as they say, “Hope is not a strategy.”
For example, if you set a goal to prospect 100 clients per week, but you don’t create a strict daily routine, list your target clients, set aside specific times for calls, or establish accountability checkpoints, then this goal is unachievable.

Life will get in the way of your goals. Sooner or later, your big goals will be overshadowed by countless other tasks. Without a system for achieving your goals, you will quickly fall into discipline fatigue.
This is exactly what happened to me. At the beginning of last year, I was so passionate about my big goal.

I had so much confidence, energy, and excitement that I kenya telegram data believed I could achieve it if I just said it.
Then, my sales team started going all-out to land new clients, and the work started piling up. I was traveling, speaking, training, advising clients, writing books, hosting OutBound conferences, and dealing with the day-to-day business disputes.

Because I didn’t have a system in place to support my audacious goals, my discipline began to fray as the work wore me out, and I slowly but surely fell off track.
For my part, I realized that with a goal this big, thinking that I could achieve it on my own passion alone was a losing strategy.

Instead, I needed to hire more talent. To achieve this, I needed people who could lead and keep the project moving. I also needed to build a systematic, step-by-step system to achieve this goal.
Upon reflection, I’m grateful for my monumental failure because it forced me to change my leadership approach, bring great new talent to my team, and become more engaged in our strategic business planning process.
