Become an influencer

Post by Bappy32 »

The first LinkedIn tools that you can use for content marketing are of course the Personal and Company Updates, which you can sponsor or not for extra exposure. In order to respond even better to the need for more relevant content, LinkedIn offers more and more possibilities. In our conversation, Marcel explains a number of things that are directly related to this.

“First, we have allowed a very large group of influencers onto our platform. These are the so-called ‘heroes’ in their field.” For this influencer program, LinkedIn invited the 150 most influential people in 2013 to actively share their inspiration on the platform via blog posts. The first blog, written by Bill Gates with the title ' Three Things I've learned from Warren Buffett ' immediately led to thousands of comments. A result that showed high engagement and that called for expansion.

In the meantime, 500 active influencers have been invited. For afghanistan mobile phone number list example, as a content marketer you can follow Dharmesh Shah (HubSpot), Joe Pulizzi (CMI), Steve Rubel (Edelman) and Shane Snow (Contently). But the real challenge is of course to become active as an influencer yourself. More and more LinkedIn members are getting the chance to do this: you can already register to write blog posts on LinkedIn at: https://specialedition.linkedin.com/publishing/ . The possibility to publish so-called long form content will be available to all (Dutch) members in the coming months.
