The WCAG 2.1 criteria ( Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ) have become the point of reference for ensuring compliance. Starting from 2025 , private companies will also have to adapt. This change is fundamental to creating a more inclusive and accessible European Union , where technology becomes a means to break down inequalities. Recently, the PNRR has allocated funds to accelerate compliance in the private sector as well.
