Difficulties of design solutions

According to Yaroslav Demichev, their company has been using Autodesk products for a long time, including Civil 3D and Revit. This is due to the fact that at the time of BIM implementation in MegaMade, there were no domestic solutions on the Russian market that met all the needs of designers. Using a single ecosystem of products from one manufacturer simplified the processes of coordination and data exchange.
Today, Russia has solutions such as Renga, Robur, and KREDO. However, their functionality is still limited, especially in terms of working with linear objects. At the same time, these software products have convenient options for detailing models (for example, breaking down point elements into separate structures).

Russian analogues provide more advanced tools for these purposes, which gives them significant advantages.
Data export formats
Export of digital models in IFC format has become the standard for providing data for state expertise. After the creation of the IFC 4.3 scheme, it became possible to take into account the features of linear objects. However, the data structure in the exported files still leaves much to be desired.
The BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) format is actively used for interaction with employees of state examination bodies. It allows working with comments directly in the model, which speeds up the process of their elimination. In Autodesk products, BCF is integrated using free plugins. But in Russian programs, according to Yaroslav Demichev's experience, importing this format is not yet possible.
