Secondly, the fact that more and more sectors are making the transition en masse to more responsible actions. As examples, they mention the food and energy sector in the Netherlands: “Even in the oil and gas industry there is movement: 'fossil' company Shell announced that it would build a large wind farm in the North Sea.” The process of changing consumer wishes, parties in a market that therefore work together to hold themselves responsible, and finally regulation by the government takes place in predictable steps.
