Truckers have started complaining about the errors in the road toll collection system: they claim that today a driver can receive an unfair fine of up to 200-300 thousand rubles, which will be extremely difficult to challenge. "Platon" is a state system of collecting fees from heavy-duty vehicles weighing over 12 tons for travel on federal highways of Russia, Vadim Filatov, president of the "AvtoGruzEx" association, told RIA Novosti. According to the expert, the collected funds are sent to the Federal Road Agency for repair and construction of road surfaces.
