Creating content is not the same as content marketing

When you talk to people about content marketing, misunderstandings can arise. This post serves to clarify a few things.

Anyone can write a text.

Some may create content that provides value to the reader (e.g. blog post).

Few are able to generate the desire to buy through their copywriting .

All of this still has little to do with content marketing .

Why? Because it is much more.

It's about knowing who you're talking to.
It is about having a content plan even if you don't always follow it strictly.
It is being disciplined and having perseverance.
It is not about expecting results to come overnight.
It is being clear that contributing something japan number phone today without asking for anything in return will generate benefits for you tomorrow.
It is collaborating with others to go further.
And I've probably still fallen short.

But be clear about one thing. Being good at creating content doesn't automatically mean you're good at content marketing. One thing is one piece of a much bigger puzzle.

Good reflection, Carlos.
Although, as you say, I think you've fallen short. I would add another point to this list, which I think is essential. Content marketing is about being flexible enough to forget everything you've learned and start from scratch again and again.

Carlos, I take my hat off to you.

All these reasons are what often cause projects to fail.

If I had to add another, I would say that the content needs to be analyzed and monitored.

That's not worth it, public and I forget.
