The fear of “Shut up!”
Fear of blogging
The fear of criticism is the next big fear we have to contend with.
And although I have more than 7,000 loyal readers and constantly receive emails of praise, some emails with criticism really get to me.
Criticism is like a kick in the balls – it doesn’t matter how it is delivered, it always hurts.
Just recently I received another comment with the following wording:
“Stick your advice somewhere cyprus telegram screening else, you stupid idiot!”
The best email so far had this wording:
"You are an ignorant asshole!!!!!!!!"
What I'm getting at is:
There will always be critics. It's a bad sign if you don't have any critics. It's a sign that nobody cares about your writing.
Even the big companies have this fear of criticism. As advertising star Jean-Remy von Matt said in an interview with Handelsblatt: “The fear of a shitstorm is always there.”
