how to involve employees in such a project right from the start.

Employees as corporate bloggers and brand ambassadors: This is still the exception in many German companies, especially in medium-sized businesses. There are even fewer examples from municipal companies. I am all the more pleased that I have now received permission from one of my customers to present a project in which I have been able to work from the very beginning in an advisory and supportive capacity and in whose further development I am still involved: the content strategy and corporate blog of Stadtwerke Neuss, the "Stadtwerke Magazin".

For me, this project is outstanding in many ways - not least because a very small team has been doing something truly amazing since the official launch in October 2016. This includes not only continuously feeding the Stadtwerke magazine with content from the company. Feeding the Stadtwerke magazine with content from the company.

PR officer and project manager Jessica Wolf also leads regular editorial meetings with experts from all areas of the company and supervises colleagues who are themselves active as authors for the magazine. Together with Jürgen Scheer, head of the central corporate communications department, and PR officer Alexandra Hartig, she also continuously develops the content and social media strategy. The latest project in 2018: an Instagram channel for the company's trainees.
