Block
In this case, each page links to several others that are equivalent to each other. This design can be used for a specific product, placing separate entries describing its advantage/feature or set of characteristics.

All the entries here are linked to each other and refer to the main one, which allows for its effective promotion. However, this approach is extremely specific and is not suitable for all Internet sites. An example of a resource block diagram:

Tree-like
A universal design used by 99% of all resources. There clinical nurse specialist email list is a branch for each direction, and a separate branch for each product or service.

In other words, the entries are combined into familiar sections and subsections. In this case, visitors' attention is concentrated not only on the main page, but also on the sections (each entry in the section links to both the main page and its section, all that remains is to set up the "breadcrumbs").

Requirements for the website structure
Who forms the requirements for the content and structure of the site? Of course, search engines. After all, webmasters always try to adapt to them. Although we should not forget that Internet sites are primarily created for users, and not for robots.

To analyze the structure of a resource, search engines evaluate its URL. Strictly speaking, its structure is the URL scheme. But in conversation, it is easier not to use the abbreviation URL.

Let's see what requirements search engines put forward for the structure of a website's organization.

"Yandex"
A detailed description of all Yandex requirements can be found in the "support" section on the search engine's website. Here we will list only the most important points:

Correctness of symlinks - when navigating through an Internet resource, similar URLs should not be added (for example: example.com/vasya/vasya/vasya/vasya/).

Clear link scheme. Each entry should belong to the appropriate block (category, section). Each page should be linked to at least one other page.

The presence of text links to other entries (sections). This makes it easier for the search engine to analyze the content.

The presence of a resource map (xml map), which speeds up its indexing.

A single, unique URL for each entry. Different entries should have different URLs, and vice versa – one entry should have a single URL.

Limitation of indexing of service information (presence of robots.txt file).

As we can see, Yandex has many criteria and requirements for both the resource scheme and the resource itself. But this is official information, so you will have to adapt.
