Setting up the visibility of statuses in WhatsApp

WhatsApp, as a Facebook product, does not prioritize privacy, but it does provide the ability to make an account private so that no one else can spy on account owners. Thanks to privacy settings, the user decides who sees profile changes, status, other data, and who does not. To restrict access to an account in WhatsApp, you need to activate a special option that most users do not know about.
The privacy option is disabled - updates are visible to all WhatsApp users from the smartphone's address book.
WhatsApp statuses are a bit like social media stories, so you can find out exactly who among your contacts has seen the status. This option can be useful not only for friends and family (pure curiosity plays a role here), but also for those who conduct sales through the WhatsApp platform. Knowing how many users have seen the status, you can adjust your activity in the messenger.
If you are bothered by updates to most of your contacts from your address book list, or want to limit the circle of friends who will see your statuses, follow the instructions below.
Setting up status visibility
WhatsApp Messenger offers to hide updates for certain users from your address book. The option is activated with a few clicks.
Instructions:
— Open WhatsApp. At the top of the window, on a green background, there are sections: Chats, Status, Calls. Select the second one.
— Call up the settings menu by pressing the three dots at the top left.
— Select the “Privacy” option.
— The application will open a new window “Who can see my spain telegram statuses”. Three options are presented: “Contacts” (activated by default).
— The item "Contacts except...". Clicking on the line will open the address book list window. Mark users who will not have access to updates.
— The “Share ...” line will allow you to send the status to a specific WhatsApp user.
- Click "Done" when you are finished.
— Please note: new settings will not affect statuses published earlier until the settings are changed.
How to hide statuses of certain contacts
If you don't want to see stories from certain users all the time, we suggest the following steps:
— Open the “Status” section.
— Published contact statuses will be posted here.
— Select the person whose updates you don't want to see
To no longer see status updates from certain users:
1. Go to the same tab
2. Select and hold the contact whose updates you don't want to see
3. Confirm the action by clicking on the "Hide" button
