Last week, the Associated Press published an article citing data from the latest report from the U.S. Census Bureau, revealing the income of the top 20% of earners in the United States.
They found that the richest 20% of Americans earned more than $130,000. That’s more than five times more than the poorest 20%.
While this is interesting in itself, what is more important is that the richest 20% also account for more than 50% of the nation’s total income.
That's a big deal.
