A unique brand name is often easier to establish as a domain name, because many domain names with generic terms are already established. We don't need to explain that a website is important, so this can be an important reason to choose a unique brand name.

Google values branded searches
Google uses E-A-T to evaluate search results. E-A-T is short for Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness, or expertise, authority and trustworthiness. These are also attributes of a strong brand. Data also shows that brand trustworthiness is more important than ever to consumers.

The question then becomes how Google measures a brand's E-A-T. In my slovenia mobile numbers list experience as an online marketer, I often see a correlation between how much a brand is searched in Google (branded searches) and how organic visibility the website is in Google. Put more simply, I believe that if people search on a brand name often in Google, Google appreciates this and the website as a whole will rank better in Google. Possible remains open to expand portfolio
Say you have a really good idea for a new flavor of dog treats and you name your brand Super Delicious Dog Treats. Then you capture and build awareness. Your dog treats catch on, you build a regular customer base, and more and more people know your brand. Then you decide you want to expand your range to food for cats, rabbits and other pets. And then your brand name isn't so good anymore. If you would have chosen a unique brand name in the beginning, you would have been able to expand your range much easier.
