Check whether the Specified Commercial Email Act applies

It is not necessary to send notifications, announcements, or one-time passwords , but promotional short messages must comply with the Specified Commercial Email Act, just like email newsletters

. The guidelines provided by the Japan Data Communications Association require opt-in for promotional short messages.

What is the Specified Commercial Email Act?
