It is the first impression that is generated in human resources , a cover letter that is key to accessing that dream job. We are referring to the CV : Do you want to know how to make a resume ? What to put on a resume ? Here are the keys to making the phone ring and getting that long-awaited job interview .

Only 10% of applications for job offers result in job interviews, a rather low figure (data from Zety, a professional consultancy) that has an explanation. The fact is that we are still not aware of the importance of knowing how to make a suitable CV , adapted –be careful!– to the vacancy for which we are applying. In other words, no generic CV and no sending it to any job offer. This is the first piece of advice we give you, but there are other important aspects to take into account to get that longed-for job.

What is a CV?
The CV is a tool used in human resources to find a job. Professionals summarise their career in a document that must compile the most important milestones of their career: most relevant training, jobs held, companies worked for, positions and duties, technical and soft skills and other aspects to take into account, such as whether they are available to change residence, travel, driving licence, etc. The presentation of this information largely determines whether the phone rings and access to the second phase of any selection process: the job interview .

It is therefore important to know how to make a CV benin whatsapp data attractive to recruiters. Nowadays, it is important to be able to send it in digital format, since email is the most common method used and selection processes are managed through external consultants and employment portals.

What to put on a resume?
As we pointed out above, there are key aspects that a candidate's resume must contain for a job offer. These are the essential details and what to put on a resume to find a job :

Personal data : Name and surname, ID, date of birth, address, email, social media users.
Education : whether you have completed a degree or vocational training, whether you have done postgraduate studies, master's degrees, etc. Arrange them in order of importance, from highest to lowest. In the next point we will expand on details regarding tips for your CV .
Professional experience : from internships to other more important jobs. It will all depend on whether you are a junior or a senior professional in your sector of activity. Always highlight the experience that provides the greatest value to the potential employer.
Soft skills : Soft skills are increasingly valued. Highlight what you consider especially important and what you would bring to the organization: whether you are a resource person, creative and innovative, able to work in complex situations, teamwork, etc.
Other relevant information could include foreign language proficiency (it is important to note if you have qualifications that prove your level), availability to change residence and to travel for work reasons, if you have a driving license.
The order of the factors could alter the result when talking about how to make a resume . That is why there are different types of CVs and here we highlight the most used ones and those that offer the best results to candidates:

Chronological CV : the classic one, presenting experience by date, from recent to initial. It is often used when dealing with people who are just starting out in the world of work.
Functional CV : Highlights the positions held and the time spent in them. For example: Social Media Manager with 7 years of experience. Details of the most relevant companies in which the job has been held are given.
Mixed CV : combines the essence of the chronological and the resolution generated by the functional CV.
Creative CV : Give free rein to your imagination to present what defines you as a professional in an original and different way. This is highly recommended for professions closely linked to communication and marketing, jobs in which innovation plays an important role. At this point, we could refer to video CVs, which are increasingly used in the 2.0 environment and among young professionals, among digital natives.
It is important to be aware that you have to know how to properly package your experience and knowledge as a professional.
