How to Advertise on Instagram Step by Step
From the “Promote” button on Instagram
It is possible to advertise on Instagram directly from the platform, using the button suggested in some previous posts. However, we do not recommend this method as it does not offer many segmentation possibilities. If you choose this method, you can use posts you have already published. It is advisable to take advantage of those that provoked the most interactions to grow your audience.
From Facebook Ads Manager
1 – First link your Instagram account to a Facebook account
This is a fundamental requirement for advertising on Instagram since both platforms use the Facebook Ads database for advertising. To do this you have to log in to your Facebook account, then “Settings”, then “Instagram” and then you will have to enter your login details so that everything is linked.
2 – Create a campaign from the ads manager
Once your accounts are linked, we’ll get to work on your ad. Click “Create a new ad” and then select “Instagram” when choosing your broadcast platform.
3 – Now create the ad set
Here you will need to give your “Ad Set” a name and then you can start kuwait whatsapp numbers segmenting the data. Select the objective, whether you will be doing manual or automatic audience segmentation, the placement of the ads (feed, stories, mobile, desktop, etc.), and also the budget and schedule.
4 – Set up your ad
This is the time to specify what content will be displayed in your ad, to give the platform the text and the images or videos to be broadcast. You can choose between the publications you have already made (you can advertise those that have worked well) or upload original content.
Sales don't happen by magic, especially if it's your first time advertising on Instagram. So it's necessary to analyze the results to adjust what didn't work and repeat the practices that were successful. Keep in mind that the platform gives you all the information you need.
Let's look at each section in more detail.
a. Public: You can create a new one based on parameters you decide or you can use a saved one. You can also save the configuration you make to use it at another time.
b. Placements: If you want your ad to appear only on Instagram, select Manual Placements and choose the sections in which it will appear. If you choose Automatic Placements, your ad will appear in multiple locations on Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram.
c. Budget and schedule: Just like when you do it from the app, you will have to enter the amount to invest and the period of time that the ad will last.
