Do you work in the CIS countries and on the international market?

All new features will be provided to PlantLinker users free of charge as they become available.

In your opinion, does your product have competitors on the Russian market today?

Among Russian companies, we have competitors, so to speak, in the commercial part, but phone number indonesia not in the technical part. All programs that are on the market do not meet the requirements for Plant Design category systems. They position themselves as BIM systems.

I know that you have your own position on the limitations of using BIM technology (TIM, as it is now commonly called) in the design of complex industrial installations and that Plant Design technology differs from the previously announced technology. Could you tell us in more detail what their fundamental difference is? And what is the limitation of using TIM technology in this industry?

Good Plant Design systems are built around piping systems first and foremost, with everything else being ancillary elements. Plant Design systems are also designed to support an unlimited number of these piping systems and scale to mega-projects with the ability to quickly modify models.

They are based on rules and specifications, rather than on libraries of standard parts - "families".

We are striving for the international market with all our might. We also considered the CIS countries, for example, Kazakhstan. But now our main focus is still on the Russian market: we want to take into account in the system all the features of the formation of output documentation, especially the requirements for the design of drawings, etc.

What are the main features of PlantLinker that are specific to Russian design and that are not found in other systems?

Firstly, it is one common integral model. You can design all systems in one place, both the construction part and the technological part: pipelines, ventilation, cable trays, etc.

Secondly, you can create and edit drawings without leaving the system, and then save and use them outside of PlantLinker.

Users can also create their own element types and data fields and output isometric drawings through Intergraph's standard ISOGEN module.

In addition, PlantLinker CAD is a stand-alone, easy-to-install system with an open data storage format.

Do you keep an eye on Aveva and Intergraph product developments?

Intergraph is currently releasing the 20th version of Smart3DX with a new user interface. They promised to do it back in 2013, when we weren't even thinking about creating our own system. And today, in 2024, you won't believe it, PlantLinker's functionality is a little broader.

In terms of the KM brand, we focus on Tekla Structures. In PlantLinker, you can accept and materialize their models quite quickly, create elements of supporting structures. We plan to implement parametric nodes.
