Post series: how to launch them for success

A series of articles deals with the same topic from different angles. Long posts are offered to the reader in a more digestible form in small portions. At the same time, it is a way to hook the reader to come back again and read the next part. Using all or some of the following techniques helps make the series a success.

Posts that hook the reader

1. Announcing the series on Twitter: There's not much mystery to it. Announcing that you're going to write about a topic can create expectations and curiosity. Remember that the title is key to the success of a post. There are different memorable headlines to launch a tweet that creates interest and receives retweets.

2. Create an opening post : An opening post gives more details about the series. You should already have all the parts in mind and announce the different articles with their titles. Every time you publish a new part you can link to it from this initial post as well.
